Neo Walker tall offers compression adjustment via air chambers and a control valve. Soft inner lining and stable foot part with anti-slip system. Stabilization and prevention of edema in soft tissue injuries in the ankle joint and distal part of the lower leg, ankle sprains II and III degrees. In stable fractures in the ankle and foot area or the need for immobilization in a selected therapeutic range after surgical interventions. It is used after operations on the big toe joint, soft tissue and Achilles tendon injuries, protection and post-traumatic stabilization of the area.
Contrarindications
• Conditions requiring total limb immobilization
• Open and unstable fractures
• Difficult-to-heal wounds, skin ulcers or open sores
• Caution is required when placing patients with impaired sensation or diabetes
To put on
Caution: The Neo Walker must be worn with a sock.
1. Unfasten the straps and open the soft inner lining. Carefully place the foot in the shoe, ensuring that the heel is correctly positioned.
2. Double-check that the foot is correctly positioned in the patient’s sitting position. Fasten the Velcro straps on the inner lining.
3. Fasten all the fastening straps, starting from the bottom up, ensuring proper compression.
4. To inflate the air chambers, turn the valve clockwise, then press the black pump button several times until the desired compression is achieved.
5. To reduce the compression, turn the air valve counterclockwise. The air chambers will deflate automatically.
Washing and maintenance instructions
Remove the soft inner part, wash by hand with a sponge and mild detergent and cold water, avoiding excessive wetting. Do not bleach, do not dry clean, do not wring. Let it dry naturally, away from heat sources, in an unfolded position. Do not wash in a washing machine or use a dryer. Clean the plastic elements with a damp cloth and let them dry naturally. Do not use bleach or other detergents.
